This Privacy Policy explains how Trailer Gear Max, LLC ("GearMax Pro", "we", "us"), 395 US-180, Seminole, TX 79360, USA, collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from www.gearmaxpro.com (the "Site").

Personal information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, fill out one of our forms (Contact Us, Become a Distributor, OEM Manufacturers or Fleet Sales), subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us by live chat or WhatsApp, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and your messages.

Order information. We keep the products you buy, your order history and your addresses. Card payments are processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe: we do not receive or store your full card number.

Device information. When you browse the Site we automatically collect certain information about your device, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you got to the Site, using cookies and server log files.

How we use your personal information

  • To process and ship your orders, send invoices and order confirmations, and handle returns and warranty claims.
  • To answer your questions and quote requests, including from distributors, OEMs and fleet customers.
  • To contact you by email or phone about your orders and requests.
  • To send you our newsletter and marketing emails if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of these emails.
  • We only send marketing text messages (SMS) if you have given us your prior consent. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP.
  • To screen orders for fraud, and to operate, secure and improve the Site.

How we share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:

  • Odoo, which hosts and powers our website and online store (Odoo privacy policy).
  • Stripe, which processes card payments.
  • Shipping carriers such as UPS and FedEx, to deliver your orders.
  • Email and messaging providers, to communicate with you.

We may also share personal information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies

We use cookies that the Site needs to work, for example to keep your shopping cart and your session. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may stop working. We do not currently use advertising pixels. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy.

We do not change our data collection practices in response to "Do Not Track" signals.

Your U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on the state where you live (including Texas and California), you may have the right to:

  • know whether we process your personal information and access it;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format;

If you are located outside the United States, please note that your information is processed and stored in the United States.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encryption and access controls, to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Links to other websites

The Site may link to other websites, such as our social media pages. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
